What is OVO Charge Anytime?
Charge Anytime is an add-on to any existing OVO Energy tariff. It allows you to smart charge your EV for just 7p per kWh including VAT – any time, day or night, potentially saving you up to £620 a year. (see OVO website for full details and T&Cs).
Do Cord chargers work with OVO Charge Anytime now?
Yes - if you have a compatible car. However the full integration will allow you to use any car with Charge Anytime. You can check current compatibility here.
When will it be ready?
We expect to beta test in early June with a general release over the summer
If I’m already using Charge Anytime can I sign up to test?
Yes – in fact we’d love you to be a tester!
Why do you need to Beta test it?
Whilst we've tested integrations in our labs and on some chargers in the field, we need to reach a critical mass of real-world users with a variety of cars and charge settings to ensure it works fully as expected. We're opening it up early to our customers to test.
Are you integrating with Octopus?
Yes – we are working with Octopus and estimate an integration will be ready over the summer
I signed up to beta test your new app, why haven’t I had a response yet?
