Can I install an electric vehicle (EV) charger myself?
No - you must be a qualified electrician to install an EV charger. At Cord we use a national team of approved qualified electricians to install our chargers in line with the UK Smart Charging regulations. The electrician will apply for authorisation from the DNO (distribution network operator) to install an EV charger at your property, this is required by law.
