How to add the Cord charger to the customer's Monta App

This guide explains how to add a Cord chargepoint in the customer's Monta app.

Important - you must add the chargepoint in the customer's app, not your own installer's app. Failure to do so will mean the charger is registered to you, as the installer, and the customer will be unable to use all of the app functionality.

Adding a Cord chargepoint in the Monta app

Install the Monta App on the customer's phone. They can scan the QR code on the charger or search for 'Monta EV Charging' on their app store.
Under Chargers, select the Charge points tab.
Click on the + sign.
Select Cord as the charge point brand.
Select your Cord model as the charge point model.
Name the charge point and specify the address.
Click on Connect now.
Select the OCPP integration option.
Enter the serial number of the charge point including the preceding ‘SN’.
Confirm the charge point information and click on Yes, pair charge point.
Wait for verification.
The charge point is now connected and ready to charge!
