Activate Cord Rewards in three steps

Before you start, worth having to hand
- The latest Cord app.
- A smart meter on half-hourly settlement: we can check this for you.
- Your bank details: not needed at the start, but linking your account is the last step. Rewards are paid into your own account.
Open the Cord app and find Cord Rewards
It sits on your home screen. If you cannot see it, update to the latest version of the Cord app first.
Hit activate
You will be asked to give consent, then a few standard checks run in the background. This can take up to 30 days. The last step is linking your bank account.
You are in
Your £5 welcome bonus lands straight away and you start earning on qualifying sessions. Once your balance goes above £10, transfer it to your bank.
What counts as a qualifying session?
Scheduled charging between 11pm and 6am, of at least 5kWh (around 30 minutes or more), with your charger online so sessions are recorded. Set your schedule once in the Cord app and plug in regularly: boost and instant charging do not qualify.
