A portable EV charger, often called a granny charger, is the simplest way to charge: plug the 3-pin into any standard UK socket, the Type 2 into your car, and you're charging at 2.3kW. No installation, no electrician, no waiting. Five metres suits a socket close to where you park.

The Cord Lite is built like charging equipment should be: capped at 10A in line with UK electrical regulations for safe, continuous use, with over-voltage, under-voltage and over-temperature protection built in, and IP65 water resistance for British weather.
